The Better Sports for Kids Quality Program Provider designation is a seal of commitment to quality based on nationally accepted standards. The Greater Cleveland Athletic Association (GCAA) is a group of dedicated volunteers that provide athletic programming to the youth of the area of Johnston County served by Cleveland Middle School and McGee's Crossroads Middle School and their feeder schools, Cleveland, McGee's, Polenta, and West View Elementary. We do not know when we will be in Phase 3, but we are holding out hope we will be able to have a Fall season. The award celebrates a Johnston County high school senior baseball player who has demonstrated a love for the game through determination, dedication, and sacrifice. Games are September and October. The most important thing that membership gives you is a vote in the election of the Board. We are also extending our age cut off in Spring 2021 to include 12-15 year olds, so girls who age out in 2020 are able to play one final season.
