Samartian’s Purse Operation Christmas Child. We collected a magnificent 91 shoeboxes last year. Many of these families do not have running water, heating or electricity. We do this by working alongside low decile schools, pre-schools, Women's Refuge, and community organisations.

You need to be quick with this one, as boxes need to be dropped off by November 18.

The Family Shoeboxes of gifts are given to families who often have to make a choice between buying food or fuel at Christmas time – buying presents is just not a priority.

Samartian’s Purse is running its popular Operation Christmas Child again.
This is a Christian charity with a strong message of faith, and boxes go to more than 150 countries to impoverished children. Using PayPal giving supports the charity more as we pay less fees on card transactions. Please support your local Christmas Present Appeal by finding your nearest appeal and donating new, unwrapped toys and gifts for children who might not otherwise receive a Christmas present. Well-wishers should be discouraged from taking part in an annual Christmas shoebox gift appeal over environmental concerns, it has been argued.
