We are heading into the season finale of Fear the Walking Dead tonight, ending a 16 episode stretch that is genuinely the worst I’ve seen across the five seasons of Fear and nine seasons of The Walking Dead. But while Fear the Walking Dead used to be a fun, interesting twist on the concept with a new group of survivors, it has devolved into something that is bringing down the entire brand, thanks to new showrunners who knocked the show completely off course. Honestly, I don’t hate the idea, as I like the series and universe overall, and I don’t blame them, given the fanbase it’s assembled. Dustin is the founder and co-owner of Pajiba. The only episode I found somewhat interesting this season was the Al episode where A) she met one of the helicopter people at last and we got some amount of info about that group that is hugely relevant to the series as whole, considering they took Rick and B) she wasn’t allowed to stupidly film anything during that episode.

I don’t know if I need to go over just how and why season five of Fear was so bad.
