I had absolutely no idea about any of the issues addressed in this book. While I’m not the target audience for this book, I think young girls who read middle grade books would thoroughly enjoy this story. One of the main reasons I started this blog this year, was to help myself achieve my goals. I happened to be at a train museum in Scranton, PA and I saw this book in the gift shop. This novel will appeal to readers of the Dear America series, as well as more mature readers who will enjoy the story's rich context and drama.
